Senior Secondary (YEAR 11 AND 12)
MIXTURE OF COURSES
The Year 11 and 12 curriculum is taught in a mixture of courses to cater for differences in interests, rates of learning and motivation of the students. Students choose a range of courses to meet the requirements for a WACE. Each course has different level of difficulty and to be completed as semester units.
WESTERN AUSTRALIAN CURRICULUM
The WACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education) is the Western Australian Senior Secondary School Certificate of education. The WACE is recognized nationally in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and recognized internationally by universities and other tertiary institutions, industry and training providers. Generally, students will complete two years of senior secondary study to achieve WACE, although the SCSA allows students to meet the WACE requirements over a lifetime.
